La elección del señor presidente ha despertado esperanzas, pero hasta ahora se enfrenta con sus propios demonios y el país no puede esperar más. Ofreció un gabinete plural y eligió otro camino. Desmoralizó a la Policía, guillotinándola en vez de optar por la razón y la objetividad. Un gobierno debe, justamente, gobernar, pero observo síntomas de parkinson político.
¿Por qué el Congreso se ha convertido en una especie de “enemigo” de la sociedad?
Se ha ahondado el cuasidivorcio con la ciudadanía por cuatro razones. Fue elegido por menos de la mitad de los electores, la corrupción se percibe impune, la reforma electoral sigue inconclusa y los partidos obran codiciando las urnas. A veces la irresponsabilidad legislativa decepciona, pero la responsabilidad originaria es de todos. No nos demos por sorprendidos.
Hoy, para muchos, la protesta es la vía “más efectiva” para generar cambios. Pero ¿cuál es la otra cara de la moneda?
Plantearlo así es un dilema reduccionista. Los cambios necesitan una visión de país y no se ha escrito ni una coma al respecto. En estado de emergencia solo es legal, legítimo y ahora urgente, convertir las protestas en propuestas coherentes y viables. Tomar decisiones sin cifrar consecuencias directas y colaterales no ayuda. Me niego a suscribir la tesis marxista de que la violencia es la partera de la historia. Violencia solo genera más violencia y el extremismo estéril abre la puerta para los golpes militares. Todo ya está escrito en la historia de la violencia.
